Just got back from the dentist and I can't stop touching myself. It's been 5½ years since the last time I saw the dentist (just long enough for their highly sophisticated technology to erase any record of my last visit) and they found one teeny, tiny, miniscule little cavity in the back. Imagine my confusion now that eventhough the cavity is fixed the entirety of the right half of my face is numb.

Including my eye.

I'm pretty sure I've had my jaw put to sleep before and I'm pretty sure that as the medicine wears off the place where they inject you hurts like a you-know-what. But I'm also pretty sure they've never filled me up with so much medicine even my eye went numb.

My face, it feels so funky. Just thought I'd share.

Ah the dentist.
They hate me. I have the reverse problem you do. I burn through novocaine too quickly. When they did my wisdom teeth, the final cutting was not numb...it was interesting.
BTW, let me know when the package gets there....

Ok I just went to the dentist too and trust me I know the feeling. It's been a while for me too.
