Ah yes, the joys of the internet are many and splendid

26 January 2007

Many of you have been receiving 'messages' in one varied form or another from someone on flickr. Trust me, if you've gotten any of them you know who you are.

First, this person is not me (as many of you were led to believe).

Second, I do not know this person, have never met this person, and have no idea why they're leaving comments and sending you messages. It's as much of a mystery to me as it is to you.

Third, I've been asked if it's okay for you to block them, report them, and delete their comments. To all these things I say a mighty, 'YES!' This sort of thing has happened in the past, perhaps by the same person, and flickr has *always* been very prompt and swift with their actions in banning/blocking users who are clearly violating the terms of service.

*sigh*

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me. Hopefully everything will be sorted out in no time at all.

Comments

Whomever it is, they possess the depth of character of a piece of plywood.

And I don't mean to insult plywood here.

Nice note Soph. I will keep my eyes open.

Sorry your beauty and fabulous-ness has bred hostility in someone.
