Day 2 in the trenches, in which there's a startling revelation

02 November 2005

Shit.

I think I'm writing chick-lit.

*shrugs*

Oh well. At least there's copious amounts of booze involved.

Get down wit y'bad self. Booze-inflected chick lit is the best.

Well if anything, I've got Keira on the edge of her seat waiting for each day's installment. And the only thing that girl has read in the last ten years was the first 3 chapters of the Satanic bible.

So you know, I'd consider that a victory.

okay, I've made a decision after testing myself today - I'm joining in!
No title for my novel yet, but it's a kid's fantasy adventure story (fun for grown ups too, of course), and I started today! I'm two days late starting, so playing catch-up, and to make the 50,000 words target I'm gonna need to do on average 1,800 words a day. Today, Day One, I did 1,830 (pretty easily, it's not that tough), so I'm ahead already - woohoo!

If you want to read it daily, email me at:

jellywellington@aol.com

and I'll put you on the list!

Just don't expect great literature - this is all about quantity, not quality, and it's likely to have lots of rubbish stuff in there!
