The Incredible Incredibles

06 November 2004

Last night I was lucky enough to see The Incredibles.

First let me state that it's only a matter of time until Pixar hires me. After all, the the depths of untapped creativity and knowledge are still unknown. And well, they love me like a fat woman loves cake. They just haven't met me yet.

Second, the movie was *drum roll please* Incredible. It was a little more on the action/adventure edge than past pixar movies, therefore the target audience is slightly older (generally in their 30's, at least at my showing). What I really love about pixar flicks is the creativity. Tons and tons and tons of creativity, kicking Disney right in the balls.

Well, they do. No wonder Disney wants a piece of them so badly.

Hire me? Please?

Yes - can I work there too please?

I'm a very enthusiastic comic fan - and love ridiculous comedy movies, and Pixar films, so I'm really really really looking forward to this - seen a couple of trailers, laughed out loud, should be going to see it when it opens here in England this week. Can't wait!

You will not be disappointed, Welly. As a Mac zealot (and Pixar zealot) extraordinaire I can say this is Pixar's best movie yet. Although I am also biased in that I love everything director Brad Bird has done, so in this case as long as there wasn't any Jar-Jar's running around I was going to be satisfied...

On another note, I'm soooo in love with Violet. What can I say, I watched Winona Rider in Bettlejuice too much when I was a teen. I loooooove dark brooding girls.
