Insomniac feast
10 June 2004
Bleary eyed isn't good for the complexion. Neither is lost hearing (honestly, I took a shower last night, wrapped up my hair in a towel, and ever since one ear is very muffled.... wtf mate?).
And in my sleeplessness I found this: Friday's Feast.
Since Friday 5 hath retired, I'll give it a go.....
Appetizer: What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?
My middle name is Elizabeth. I distinctly remember finding out I even HAD a middle name and considered myself the luckiest 3 year old on the entire planet for getting TWOOOOO names. It was spelling the first name that sucked. How I longed for a simple Jenny or Sara. Let it be known that phase didn't last long. I adore my name now - it sounds very royal and strikes fear in to the heart of peasants everywhere.
Soup: If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?
Fabrics: the kind you want to touch; colors: lots of them; styles: the extremely girlie kind. I would also do men's clothes. Let's face it, you guys need all the help you can get.
Salad: What is your least favorite chore, and why?
Cleaning up *anyone* else's mess. I will scrub toilets and mop floors until the cows come home. But if you ask me to clean up someone else's mess I will strike fear in to your heart with my regal name (another reason why I'm pretty sure I will be living alone for the remainder of my life).
Main Course: What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
Snakes. I have a phobia of snakes and nothing else. I remember going to a local pet store when I was in kindergarten and was terrified from the moment I saw that slimey boa constrictor (yeah yeah, I know that breed isn't slimey but it's a snake and it's disgusting). I am genuinely terrified of those sneaking, writhing monsters.
Dessert: Where are you sitting right now? Name 3 things you can see at this moment.
In the purple, velvet, diaphram resembling chair sitting in the corner of my room at 4:30 in the morning. The lights are out so i can see my computer, my mouse, and the curtains I have hanging in front of the door.
