Em, as promised here's a spot to brain dump on what we need for this weekend.
Current thoughts:
Dance CD - with Missy, Kylie, Madonna Remix, Britney (eek!), Sugababes
Alternative - Collide, Conjure One, Lacuna Coil, Iris
Hip Hop - Outkast, Jurassic 5, Atmosphere
Latin Mix (I just got the Once Upon a Time In Mexico Soundtrack)
What else?
Comments
Relax music - Howie Day, Coldplay, Crowded House, John Mayer, Jennifer Brown, Radio Head
Dance - Beyonce, Daniel Bedingfield, Shy FX, U96, Jamiroquai, No Doubt
Hip Hop - Jurassic 5
That's all for now - I'll keep thinking!
How do you feel about Paul Oakenfold?
Additionally...
Dido, Delerium, Baxter
In eager anticipation of their upcoming return, you ought to get 'Phantom Power' by Super Furry Animals, being you haven't any Welsh in your rotation. Being you haven't any Welsh in you! If you wanted a more kind introduction, 'Rings Around The World' would also suffice. It was SFA's first shot at English numbers. See Super Furry Animals at The Fine Line, 02 February. It'll likely be the best show you've seen in your time in Minneapolis.
I believe you're the second person in the matter of 3 days to tell me Super Furry Animals was worth getting. I will think about it ;).
I'm always a big fan of loud punk rock as road trip material, but then we all know I'm a little off kilter.
Who the heck are the 'Super Furry Animals?' and why Welch 'Super Furry' and furthermore, why Welch animals, in their furriness are performing at the 'Fine Line' which is designated for "human" performances... ah the confusion!

That's a touch too limited. Too much rubbish, to boot. Stave off on the Dido and Sugababes. If you're going out-of-state, Arab Strap is an absolute must - 'The Red Thread' is ideal driving mucous, err...music. When is your road trip and won't you accept a wee compilation from me? On the bye, No Doubt disgraced Talk Talk by even giving an endeavour at that re-make, let alone record it and bring it to Top 40. Nails on a blackboard, it is. Eliminate that one, steadfast, vixen.
Trip is Saturday. Of course anyone may donate to our cause...
No matter what genre you follow, no matter your generation as well - you need to get some Curtis Mayfield in your rotation. Try any disc with 'Move On Up' and you're set for the road. If we're going to advance further across the board, also look into Voodoo Child (Moby's alter-ego as punhyra was once yours) - 'Baby Monkey' was released only yesterday. That'll suffice for now, or so I think. Where might I meet you to extend my compilation? On the bye, I'm changing my surname to Shebesta. That's a brilliant name - one would think it a cross between an energy drink and something you catch that you might be boasting of...si, si.
